Why is it important?
Understanding Dream Reality Confusion is essential to get a clearer picture of certain sleep phenomenons that patients with borderline personality describe as occuring even during the day. It can easily be labelled as dissociative hallucinations or some kind of flashbacks and hence necessary to differentiate.
