Why is it important?

Psychological interventions for stress management have been proposed in the last decade and although the effectiveness of psychological interventions for reducing cardiovascular events in patients with coronary artery disease has been recently published, there are still doubts regarding the effectiveness of these stress management-focused psychological interventions in reducing cardiovascular events.

Perspectives

I hope this study draws attention to the effect and possible use of psychological stress management techniques in people with chronic illnesses.
