What is it about?
Sexual minority adults have reported poorer sleep than heterosexual adults. This research used an online survey to understand why this happens. We found that sexual minority adults are more likely to have experienced sexual abuse, stress, and depressive symptoms than heterosexual adults. These may contribute to why sexual minority adults tend to sleep less well than others.
