What is it about?

This study focused on the psychological impact of living in the Samos refugee camp through the perspectives of humanitarian workers and volunteers. Our work revealed that the camp’s dire conditions, characterized by overcrowding, inadequate hygiene and health care, and prolonged asylum processes, significantly contributed to mental health issues among refugees, including anxiety, depression, and hopelessness.
