What is it about?

The Auroral Kilometric Radiation (AKR) exhibit itself as a Self-Organized Criticality (SOC) system. The SOC systems behave mathematically like avalanches. . The SOC approach has already been used for an nterpretation of some magnetospheric processes, but never for AKR.

Why is it important?

We know that SOC systems occur often and the next phenomen (AKR) is a SOC system too

Perspectives

We will work on new data gathering AKR bursts and on other objects (in the Solar System)
