What is it about?
Seeds with epicotyl dormancy have a delay in shoot emergence from the time of radicle emergence. This pehnominon has not been reported in seeds of Rubiaceae. In this manuscript we report epicotyl dormancy in three tropical montane Psychotria (Rubiaceae) species which is the first record of epicotyl dormancy in Rubiaceae.
