What is it about?
Media framing of the Syrian Refugee Crisis in Canada, focusing on differences in news coverage over time and across news sources. Results primarily show that news coverage shifts markedly from focusing on the conflict to more humanizing discussions about refugees' families and resettlement in Canada following the release of the iconic Alan Kurdi photo.
