What is it about?
Predicting the formation of bubbles in breaking water waves is of great importance to correct simulation of wave impacts on structures and the air-water interface. This paper presents a new prediction approach that represents the generation of bubbles without needing to predict the fine scales. A dynamic turbulence model ensures prediction of the turbulent motion is physically correct.
