What is it about?
Coal based power plants are one of the cheapest source of electricity generation, but have huge environmental costs. Disposal of fly ash is a major problem.. though some of this ash is used in cement and construction industries. Waste rubber tire(WRT) is another major solid pollutant which needs to be recycled. My idea was to combine these two solid wastes, WRT and fly ash to prepare polypropylene based thermo-plastics.
