What is it about?

This study focuses on helping governments, universities, and organizations better plan for the future of science and technology. It offers a framework to connect forward-thinking anticipatory governance, scientific insights, and sustainable policy-making to tackle societal challenges. A new framework is proposed to guide decision-makers in implementing Anticipatory Governance Systems, especially in emerging countries. The research highlights seven main theoretical dimensions that help integrate the sustaining pillars for the framework, providing directions to address complex societal challenges through smarter, more inclusive policymaking.
