What is it about?
This study is aimed to research X and gamma ray interaction parameters of the cancer treatment drugs. The mass attenuation coefficient effective atomic number half value layer values which are the significant radiation absorption parameters were obtained theoretically and experimentally. Exposure buildup factor values of the drugs were also calculated.

Why is it important?
In many studies, it has been reported that chemotherapy drugs prevent the growth of cancer cells as well as protect the normal cells from the harmful effects of radiation. Also some chemo drugs help to make the radiation work better by making cancer cells more sensitive to radiation.
