What is it about?
This paper explores how combining virtual reality (VR) and e-learning can make learning more engaging and interactive. We share three innovative teaching projects that use these technologies to inspire students and enhance their learning experience. The first project involves students designing seawalls to protect against tsunamis, blending computer-based learning with hands-on laboratory activities. In the second project, students create nutritious fruit juices, learning about health and nutrition while experimenting with different ingredients. The third project uses VR headsets to give students a thrilling experience of riding a rollercoaster, excitingly enhancing their understanding of physics. Each project showcases how creative teaching methods can motivate students, improve problem-solving skills, and make learning more enjoyable.

Why is it important?
This paper is crucial as it demonstrates how innovative teaching methods, like hybrid e-learning and virtual reality, can revolutionize education. These methods are not only timely, given the increasing reliance on digital tools in education spurred by recent global events but also unique in their approach to combining traditional and modern learning techniques. By integrating VR and e-learning, this research provides practical examples of how technology can be used to enhance student engagement and deepen understanding in fields as diverse as engineering and nutrition. The projects discussed highlight the significant benefits of active learning environments, where students are not just passive recipients of information but are actively involved in creating, experimenting, and learning through real-world applications. This approach is shown to increase motivation and improve problem-solving skills, which are essential for today's students who will become tomorrow's innovators and leaders. Additionally, by addressing how these methods can be applied across different subjects, the paper broadens its relevance and potential impact, making it a valuable resource for educators worldwide looking to adopt more engaging and effective teaching strategies.
