What is it about?
A hydroclimate reconstruction is presented from an ombrotrophic mountain bog in Romania. Five major hydroclimatic shifts are identified over the past 1000 years. Good correlation exists with other palaeohydrological records from central eastern Europe. Contrasting conditions with others estimates from northwest Europe.
