We did a laboratoty study aimed at assessing the combined contribution of one characteristic of personality name sensitivity to punishment and the perceived capacity to perform a task in the cardiovascular changes that the persons suffer when face to a stressful activity

This study nourishes our comprehension of the complex relationships between personality and cognitive determinants on the regulation of the biological systems in stressful conditions.

Perspectives

This kind of laboratory studies contributes to improve our comprehension about how the mind processes regulates the biological changes. Therefore, they suppose a contribution to understand the link between psychological processes and health
