Why is it important?
Chronic care is a significant topic in healthcare today. Reviewing the content of undergraduate courses in Australia allows us to consider how well prepared Australian nurses will be and how we can improve.
Perspectives
This article allowed me to compare the course I teach into with others. This indicated what I could do better in my current practice and was the impetus to write a textbook about chronic care, to better support education on the topic in the future.
