This paper presents an evaluation of chemopressure of landfills on groundwater environment.

Why is it important?
Our findings shows the contents ofsome endocine disrupting compounds in landfill leachates.At the same time the analysis of groundwaters taken from piesometers in the neighborhood of dumping area was done. Basing on obtained results the impact of landfill on groundwater was calculated and the environmental risk connected with the presence of assayed emerging organic contaminants in leachates, groundwaters and wastewaters was evaluated.
