Researchers Karyn Dossinger, Carlson Professor Connie Wanberg, Yongjun Choi, and Lisa M. Leslie explore the mitigating factors that can affect career advancement in their paper “The beauty premium: The role of organizational sponsorship in the relationship between physical attractiveness and early career salaries,” published in the Journal of Vocational Behavior.
