Why is it important?

This study examines the antipyretic effect of a plant. It shows the significant antipyrexia that lies in the plant F. exasperata and possibly in the fig genus generally.

Perspectives

Tackling microorganism -induced fever using natural products continue to remain of interest. In a world of consistently rising inflation, going back to our roots might just be a way out at some point in time. Imagine going to your backyard to get a cure for fever, just as you may go to get a fruit from your orchard--that's what sustainable development is all about :)
