It is a very practical support for clinicians involved in cancer pain management

Perspectives

This paper was conceived to answer a simple question: Is the WHO analgesic ladder still valid? Our idea was that in many cases the pharmacological treatment of the cancer pain patients should be strategically different, to increase the quality of the care and the quality of life for the patients and their relatives.
