What is it about?
This paper argues how business-level strategies (differentiation, cost leadership) moderate the effect of corporate sustainability (CS) on firm performance. It contends that the impact of CS on performance depends on the firm’s strategy. The results indicate that CS strengths enhance performance under a differentiation strategy, while CS concerns diminish performance.
