What is it about?
Heiner Rindermann's book is a cross-disciplinary examination of the causes of international differences in national economic prosperity. This article is a review of Rindermann's book. I'm mostly positive towards his work, though I do have some reservations about his model building process, qualitative data, and recommendations.

Why is it important?
Final two sentences of my review: "For the foreseeable future, Rindermann's book will be an important source of theory and information about international inequality. Scholars interested in the topic ignore 'Cognitive Capitalism' at their peril." Though not perfect, this book is an important discussion of a vital economic question.
