What is it about?
Using infrared thermography, one can calculate the rate of tear evaporation from the surface of the eye dynamically. We show how one can detect dry eye using these images.

Why is it important?
Evaporative dry eye is the most common type of dry eye. There is no routinely used parameter in clinical practice which can measure the amount of tear evaporation.
