What is it about?
Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, home-based telehealth pulmonary rehabilitation (HTPR) for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is becoming more widespread. Optimal HTPR programming, on the other hand, has yet to be described. This study provides a thorough examination of the design, administration, and effects of HTPR on COPD patients.

Why is it important?
Our findings highlighted the variability of HTPR programme designs in COPD. For persons with COPD, HTPR programmes had similar results as outpatient pulmonary rehabilitation programmes and were even more effective than conventional therapy.
