Why is it important?
This paper busts the myth that fake reviews are always more exaggerated than authentic ones. This new and counter-intuitive finding suggests that we should not solely rely on the conventional wisdom of avoiding reviews that appear too good/bad to be true while browsing websites such as TripAdvisor.
