What is it about?
The main contribution of this paper is introducing a new unified power quality index that's based on total harmonic distortion for volt and current, sag score, sag energy, and flicker with different weight, their weight are calculated using Analytical Hierarchical Processing (AHP) using the judgment matrix.

Why is it important?
Perfect power quality means that the voltage is continuous and sinusoidal having a constant amplitude and frequency. Power quality can be expressed in terms of physical characteristics and properties of electricity. Special attention was given to harmonics and inter-harmonics, voltage dips and short supply interruptions, voltage unbalance, power frequency variations and voltage fluctuations or flicker calculations according to new recommendations for grid connected wind energy systems 3
