What is it about?
This publication is about analyzing the research on anaerobic digestion of sewage sludge using a technique called bibliometrics. We looked at the most common keywords used in the research and how they are connected, as well as which countries are contributing the most to the research. We also identified the most highly cited papers on this topic. Overall, this analysis provides insights into the current state of research on anaerobic digestion of sewage sludge.

Why is it important?
Our research on the anaerobic digestion of sewage sludge is unique in that it uses bibliometric analysis to gain insights into the current state of research and trends over time. This approach allows us to identify the most highly cited papers, top journals and authors, and the most prominent keywords used in the research, which can be very useful for other researchers looking to explore this field in more depth. Furthermore, our findings are timely and relevant, given the growing interest in finding sustainable solutions for managing wastewater, and the importance of anaerobic digestion as an effective method for treating sewage sludge. Our work will be of interest to researchers in environmental science, engineering, and related fields, potentially leading to increased readership and citations.
