What is it about?

Testing a process-based model for a biological agent (BITE) on a real forest landscape.

Featured Image

Why is it important?

This is the first study where BITE was used on a real forest landscape, different options of scripting were explored (e.g., combine the pine wood nematode with its carrying vector longhorn beetle into the agent: ínfected beetle) and all strengths and weaknesses were explored.

Perspectives

This is a great pilot study, with the potential for many follow-up studies.
