Composition, in vitro toxicity and risk assessment of a landfill leachate

What is it about?

We analyzed the composition of a landfill's leachate from a modern landfill in the north of Italy and then we performed in vitro assays to evaluate the human-related toxicity of the leachate. Finally a chemical-based risk assement has been done to evaluate the potential effects induced in human and ecological targets after exposure to leachate
