What is it about?
The research consists of experimental testing of samples made of concrete reinforced with different types of fibres (steel, macro-polypropylene and micro-polypropylene fibres) . The tests consisted of compressive strength, split tensile strength, density, and workability.

Why is it important?
This is original research that looks into the effect of different fibres on the behaviour of concrete, without any admixture. It offers a very good comparative study with some very useful and novel finding.
