What is it about?
We conducted a thorough systematic literature review on Lean adoption in the public sector and we exclusively reviewed empirical investigations of its implementation in public services. Our analysis shows uneven explorations across the globe and the concentration of studies in the European region; more specifically, the UK stands out in the number of studies. However, many gaps are revealed as well as new opportunities to further explore the topic.
