What is it about?

SCC tests on 2001 lean–duplex stainless steel (LDSS) and 2205 duplex stainless steel (DSS) reinforcements loading up to 85% of their yield strength and simultaneously exposed to 8% chloride in simulated concrete pore solution.

Why is it important?

Even if 2001 LDSS shows worse SCC performance, it is enough to ensure the nominal service life of reinforced concrete structures with lower cost.
