What is it about?
This paper is about estimating of thermal conductivity in the particulate composite. Periodic arrangement of particles is modelled for different volume fractions. An inverse calculation is done in temperature boundary condition for estimating the overall conductivity. This methodology is validated with experiments and it compares well.

Why is it important?
For the thermal application of composites, overall thermal conductivity is an important property required for analysis and design. This research would assist in computing overall thermal conductivity without undergoing any experiments
