What is it about?
Tremor in Parkinson's disease is classically believed to appear predominantly at rest. During holding a posture or while the limb is in action, there are contradictory reports in the literature about tremor in these patients. This article evaluates tremor energy in two frequency bands and suggests subgroups of patients with different characteristics could be identified.

Why is it important?
The study suggests that using different levels of loading the limb, the clinician could assign the patient to one of the subgroups and hence optimize the management.
