Why is it important?

We find that a high sense of personal competence improves the quality of life in people which are facing the loss of vision. This best adaption seems to be not related to the type of specific, personal strategies that each person has to adapt to blindness

Perspectives

This is a modest controbution to the emerging field of psychoophthalmology.
