What is it about?

Air quality monitoring is a vital mechanism for continuously monitoring the quality of air in the environment. Generally, landfilling sites are filled with mixed waste of various materials, this mixed waste generates stinky gases. Robots are the solution for monitoring the air quality of landfilling sites. In this study, we are proposing an IoT and cloud server enabled mobile robot for monitoring the air quality at the landfill sites. LoRa radio-based sensor nodes are embedding with distinct gas sensors for sensing in landfill sites and transmitting to the mobile robot. A mobile robot is an integration of LoRa radio and GPRS communication, it transmits the sensory data to the cloud server via internet protocol. The sensory data of different gases in the landfilling sites are recorded in the cloud server and also a graphical representation of the sensory data .
