What is it about?

Why is it important?
Firstly the paper is important in helping to identify and overcome research challenges. However it also serves as a useful reference for researchers active in emerging and developing country contexts. When publishing work from such contexts authors can often find journal editors and reviewers are unfamiliar with the challenges faced by researchers operating in non-western contexts. This paper hopes to offer a useful reference to help illustrate and enlighten editors and reviewers on some of those many challenges.
