What is it about?
This article provides a summary of the unique risk factors to cardiovascular diseases in the Lebanese society. Such risk factors include the Hubble bubble also known as the arghile or pipe smoking and the familial hypercholesterolemia. The latter is increasing due to the genetic tendency and the high rates of consanguinity in the Lebanese context.
