What is it about?

This article review the above book on police-citizen relations in Nigeria where issues of legitimacy, procedural justice and corruption are discussed. While I acknowledge the book's contribution to the police literature from a Nigerian and African perspectives, I highlight the need for the book to consider the sociopolitical conditions of Nigeria under which the research is conducted to help contextualise the results.
