What is it about?
The role of steroids in COVID-19 outpatients is unknown. We analyzed more than 700 COVID-19 pneumonia patients who received steroids as outpatients. Our results show that home corticosteroids were associated with reduced mortality in patients >77 years (HR 0.346; p=0.040).
