What is it about?
Using the single giant unilamellar vesicle (GUV) method developed by us, we can also investigate the effect of membrane tension on the antimicrobial peptides (AMPs)-induced pore formation and the translocation of cell-penetrating peptides (CPPs) across a lipid bilayer to enter the vesicle lumen. In this review, we summarized these data obtained so far. This review is based on the invited talk on 2018 Asian Biophysics Association Symposium in Dec. 2018 at Melbourne (Australia).
