What is it about?
This publication records large patches of a hybrid coral (Acropora prolifera) between Acropora palmata and A. cervicornis in a coral reef complex known Alacranes Reef located 140 km off northern Yucatan Peninsula, Mexico. This ocurrence implies high hybridism in these coral species.
