What is it about?
Artificial intelligence (AI) is supposed to help workers be more creative and innovative. Still, we need to learn more about how its limitations can drive workers to develop new ideas. This study looked at how workers use innovative behaviour to work around AI's limitations. When AI makes mistakes or causes fear, workers can be inspired to develop new solutions. Workers can also learn new skills to make up for AI's limitations, and AI can be used to engage workers. The study suggests that we pay more attention to AI's limitations and how they can lead to new ideas instead of just focusing on its strengths.

Why is it important?
While previous studies have focused on the strengths of AI, this review takes a different approach by exploring its limitations and how they can drive innovative work behaviour. The study argues that rather than avoiding AI limits, its limits should be embraced in the workplace, as they can inspire workers to develop new solutions. The study also raises questions about the future of AI and its potential impact on workers' motivation to innovate. This unique perspective on AI and innovation could be particularly relevant in today's rapidly evolving technological landscape. They may interest professionals seeking to enhance their creativity and productivity.
