What is it about?
The catalytic activity of M/Ga–H-ZSM-5 metal zeolites in the selective reduction of nitrous oxide by methane was found to depend on the combined action of free acid sites of zeolite and redox sites of d-metal oxide nanoparticles. A relationship was demonstrated between the catalytic properties of these systems and their redox and acid characteristics studied by thermo-programmed reduction and quasi-equilibrium thermal desorption of ammonia.
