What is it about?

While the content is locally focused, the methodological approach may interest a broader audience. My thesis suggests that as the field of the history of philosophy turns more toward intellectual history, understanding historical processes in a broader context becomes increasingly challenging. One way to address this fragmentation is by exploring local theories. Drawing on examples from French, Italian, German, and other local theories, the article examines both the potential and the limitations of the local theories approach.
