An Integrated European Model to Protect the MEDiterranean Forests from Fire – is a project, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), in the framework of the MED Programme, (an EU transnational cooperation programme among the “Territorial Cooperation objective” of the EU Cohesion Policy). The project comes from the necessity to wide spread, through an approach shared at transnational level, an integrated model for the prevention of forest fire
