What is it about?
Supporting Moms After Birth in Indonesia: This study looked at how many new moms get proper care after giving birth in Indonesia. We also explored how women's empowerment, like their decision-making and knowledge, affects this care. We found that while many moms get some care from professionals, not many get follow-up care after leaving the hospital. Women who are more empowered seem to get better care. This research shows that we need to empower women and improve the care they get after having a baby.

By exploring the connection between women's empowerment and postnatal care, this study highlights a path toward improvement. Its timeliness lies in its potential to influence policies and practices, ultimately leading to better care for mothers and newborns.
