Why is it important?
An Electoral Results Program in a country like Mexico is a complex process where thousands of resources and entities must be coordinated to transparently report preliminary results of the elections. Although simulation is a powerful tool to model and analyze complex systems, we must be careful in using simulation when the system is very large, and this article illustrate the difficulties faced to simulate a very large system, and the solutions tested in 2018 Mexican Federal Elections.
