What is it about?
This report showed that cachexia and sarcopenia exist not only at baseline but also at mid- and post-chemotherapeutic period in NSCLC, which always have prognostic value.

Why is it important?
Although factors predictive of reversibility of cachexia are not known, our data suggests that the management of gastrointestinal toxicities during chemotherapy might be important to reverse cachectic status.
