What is it about?

The use of a biologic agent to avoid recurrences of allergic fungal sinusitis after endoscopic sinus surgery. The gold standard is the daily use of an intranasal steroid, but in this study we found out that a single subcutaneous injection of omalizumab is as effective and can prevent recurrences for up to 6 months without side effects.
