What is it about?
This paper proposes a way to evaluate simultaneously the size and the velocity of the bubbles generated during the cavitation of a marine propeller. The optical laser techniques Interferometric Laser Imaging for Droplet Sizing (ILIDS) and Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV) are used.
